About me

Michelle
Fairbrother

“… I’ve always been interested in the uniqueness and individuality of people…”

Michelle holds a Master's Degree in Counselling from QUT, as well as qualifications in Community Services Coordination, Case Management, Mental Health, Training and Assessment and Professional Supervision. She is a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), the Australian College of Professional Supervisors, and a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). Her journey in the helping profession began with a successful career in Public Relations and Recruitment.

However she was always more interested in the uniqueness and individuality of people - how they think, feel and navigate life’s challenges. Michelle’s experience with families, individuals and young people allows her to bring flexibility, creativity and compassion to her work - and her passion is working with individuals who feel ready and committed to their personal growth.
